Fired

Spoon (5½", 4 mL). Mid-fire white clay and glazes. Reduction fired to cone 6.

This is the sixth in a series of experiments in making a spoon from a simple press mold made from unfired clay. The hole in the handle had been made bigger so that a thicker wire could be used, but the wire still sagged in the kiln. It also got stuck on the wire after firing, though Fernando managed to separate the two.
