Bowl 6 of 11 (⌀ 5¾″). Mid-fire mixed porcelaneous and white clay and glazes. Wheel thrown and reduction fired to cone 6.
This is a practice piece was originally planned to be contributed to the 11 bowls for Empty Bowls. Clay used was a mix of Bright White and Mid White (in unknown proportions). The base was cracked on the inside (S-crack) and the glaze didn’t melt properly near that spot. So the piece isn’t really usable.
