Bowl 12 of 11 (⌀ 6″). Mid-fire mixed porcelaneous, white and speckled clay and glaze. Wheel thrown and reduction fired to cone 6.
This is a practice piece was planned to be and was contributed to Empty Bowls. Clay used was a random mix plus some additional CCSS. The foot was damaged while trimming and the current foot was handbuilt from a slab made from the trimmings, reattached, then re-trimmed on the wheel. Tiny cracks appeared on the rim but the cracks disappeared after bisque.
