My name is Ambrose and I’m a visual artist, graphic designer and word tinkerer based in Toronto, Canada. Being a 1.5-generation settler with roots in Hong Kong has given me the desire to bring Chinese-language aesthetics and typography to the English language, and I want to do this in ways that don’t feel cliché.
I started working with ceramics when I was studying at OCAD and have exhibited in Xpace in Toronto, but my ceramics practice is currently on hiatus. I’m currently exploring ways to use paper as my medium.
